How We Reached 2.3 Million People in 14 Hours with #InfluencerMarketingMay 29, 2015
As marketers, digital strategists and community managers, we all want to experience ‘real-time’ hype. We spend countless hours drafting and implementing campaigns with the sole purpose of creating ‘hype’, or, going ‘viral’ (sorry Coco J. Ginger).

I mean, Amirite? But, sometimes, you can’t plan or prepare for top-notch engagement from your influencers, fans & friends.
We DID Start the Fire
After a long holiday weekend, the team was posting, scheduling, engaging and participating in a Twitter Chat. The #JVMChat to be exact. Twitter chats are a great way to form relationships with like-minded people and generate interest in your brand, app, or organization. During this chat, we experienced what we’re calling ‘real-time’ hype. And boy, are we glad we did. From a simple question to a few insightful responses, the @Zoomph handle was mentiond in over 184 Tweets while generating 2.0k ZPoints® and reaching 2.3 MILLION people.
The question that sparked the conversation:
Without much time passing, the Twitter notifications started rolling in. The Zoomph marketing team watched as Tweetdeck rolled in with new mentions, favorites, retweets, #hashtags and questions.
